Alfie worked at HMP Liverpool for around 3 years, we believe he was approximately 8 years old when he retired. He recently put somebody behind bars for attempting to smuggle heroin and crack cocaine to a prisoner on a visit.

He loves his food more than life itself and was well-known for his big, chunky head and would throw himself through a glass window for a tennis ball.

He retired in September 2021 when he suddenly decided he didn’t want to work anymore. He now lives at home with another member of staff, snoozing on the couch and living his best life.
